While an estimated 50 million people in the United States played recreational pickleball in 2024, there are communities around the world that lack access. We call these communities “under-championed” because lack of resources is the primary barrier to play, not a lack of desire.

Common reasons access is limited within these communities include:

  • No funding
  • No places to play
  • No gear
  • No specialized instructors
  • No volunteer support

Our gameplan is to change this — one grant and one volunteer at a time — through the generosity of the pickleball industry, player community, and charitable foundations.

The ball is in your court…
