2027 impactgrants program

Our ImpactGrants Program offers eligible grantees two pathways: 

  • CoreGrant: up to $2,500 in general, unrestricted funding for operations, courts, program and administration, as well as in-kind gear grants (i.e., new and used paddles, balls & nets).
  • ChallengeGrant: matching funds up to $2,500 that are awarded based on reaching a fundraising goal for a program, project or charity pickleball event.

Our volunteer Grants Committee prioritizes recreational programs for underserved communities and foster life skills, social and emotional learning, therapeutic/health benefits, and economic benefit/ opportunity, including:

  • Adaptive (i.e., Physical, Medical, Developmental or Cognitive)
  • Pickleball “Deserts” (i.e., rural, small town & inner city)
  • Youth/Schools (with 40%+ students receiving free/low cost meals)
  • Specific Populations (i.e., Women & Girls, Socioeconomic Status, Racial/Ethnic Minorities, etc.)
  • Juvenile Justice Centers & Prisons for Adults
  • Pickleball Academic Research
  • Pickleball Charity Events (MatchGrants only)
 

who can apply

Vetted charitable U.S. organizations are eligible to apply, including: 

  • 501(c)(3) charitable, educational, scientific, academic & religious 
  • 501(c) (4) social welfare
  • 501(c)(5) labor, agricultural & horticultural
  • 501(c)(6) business leagues, chambers of commerce & real estate boards
  • 501(c)(7) social & recreational clubs 
  • 501(c)(8) fraternal beneficiary societies & membership organizations
  • 501(c)(19) veterans organizations

Once our Grants Committee reviews your initial inquiry, we’ll be in touch. If your initial inquiry is approved, we’ll email our Grantee Guide and invite you to submit a more detailed grant proposal, project and organization budgets, letters of recommendation, and financial documents for review.

  • We have a rolling application process (no fixed deadline).
  • Monetary grants will be disbursed in 2027.
  • Applicants must serve one of our core underchampioned communities within the U.S. (or be officially partnering with one).
  • CoreGrants and ChallengeGrants are awarded for up to $2,500 each.
  • Proposals may include requests for in-kind used & new gear grants.
  • Non-governmental nonprofit applicants must have their 501(c) certification document and a linked bank account.
