Our GrantsProgram offers eligible grantees three types of grants: 

  • Direct Funding: for program and general operating expenses
  • GearGrants: in-kind grants of new and used paddles, balls & nets
  • GoGreen Pickleball Grants: to integrate sustainability into programs & events

 

Our volunteer Grants Committee prioritizes recreational programs that serve the following communities and foster life skills, social and emotional learning, therapeutic/health benefits, and economic benefit/ opportunity:

  • Adaptive (Physical or Cognitive)
  • Health Promotion & Disease Prevention
  • Youth Development/Juniors
  • Women & Girls 
  • Juvenile Justice Centers & Prisons for Adults
  • Indigenous
  • Pickleball “Deserts” (i.e., rural, small town & inner city)
  • Global Pickleball Federation  Member Countries

Funding is also available for: 

  • Pickleball Charity Events
  • Pickleball Academic Research
 

who can apply

Vetted charitable organizations (U.S. federal tax-exempt or global groups that officially partner with one) are eligible to apply to our Grants Program, including: 

  • 501(c)(3) charitable, educational, scientific, academic & religious 
  • 501(c) (4) social welfare
  • 501(c)(5) labor, agricultural & horticultural
  • 501(c)(6) business leagues, chambers of commerce & real estate boards
  • 501(c)(7) social & recreational clubs 
  • 501(c)(8) fraternal beneficiary societies & membership organizations
  • 501(c)(19) veterans organizations

the basics

Once our Grants Committee reviews your initial inquiry, we’ll be in touch. If your initial inquiry is approved, we’ll invite you to submit a more detailed proposal, budget, letters of recommendation, and financial documents for review.

  • Applicants must serve one of our core under-championed communities.
  • We have a rolling application process (no fixed deadline). 
  • First-year grants are awarded for up to $5,000.
  • Multi-year grants will be considered (after a first grant is awarded to your organization).
  • Proposals may include requests for equipment only.
  • Nonprofit applicants must have their 501(c) certification document and a linked bank account.
Our 2026 grant application cycle is still open yet funds will not be disbursed until January 2027.  PaddleGrants are available for shipping from June through December 2026.
